At Essex National Securities, Inc. ('ENSI', 'We', 'Us', 'Our'), your privacy and security is of paramount importance and we take our responsibility to protect the information you provide to us seriously. This Online Privacy Policy ('OPP', 'Policy') governs the use of our website (ensinet.com) and what information we collect, how we use it and how long we retain it. We have created a 'Plain English' summary version for you to quickly understand our Policy, and the formal version follows.

It is important to note that this OPP is different than the ENSI Privacy Policy governing Broker/Dealer activities and is different than those from our service providers. Information We Collect

When you visit our site, we may collect and log information about your computer, your internet service provider, your IP address and other information that helps us identify you as a unique user. We do not require, nor collect, any other personally-identifiable information for general access. We will, in most cases, place a cookie (a small text file) to save any preferences you select and help uniquely identify your computer when you return to our site.

How We Use It & Who We Share It With

We primarily use the information for monitoring traffic, to help us understand how our users navigate our site, and help plan for activity. We may, in some cases, use the information to monitor suspicious activity and, if required, provide to law enforcement activity information which appears to be malicious or designed to breach the integrity or security of our system. In no case do we ever store any personally identifiable information on your computer.

How Long We Retain It

Generally, we keep logged information about site usage for approximately 18 months, after which it is archived. Since ENSI operates in a heavily regulated environment, we may keep the archived files for as long as required by law or regulation. In some cases that can be as long as 7 years.

Section 2 - Information We Collect

When you visit our site, your browser, by default, sends and we log information specific to your computer and/or browser including capabilities, settings, operating system, IP address, locale/language preference and more. Additionally, as you navigate our site we collect and log your usage information.

We do not, for general access to the site, require you to provide or attempt to collect any personally identifiable information. If, however, you are a registered user of ENSInet, our transactional and contact management system, we may link your login information to your general usage of the site and aggregate that data.

We may collect referral information from advertising, link or other website providers, including participating financial institutions, in the form of referral links or tracking information.



Section 3 - How Information Is Used

We use the information we collect to plan for enhancements, traffic and to help monitor the stability and effectiveness of our website. We aggregate data to identify patterns and trends that will help us ensure the responsiveness of our applications.

We may use aggregated data to compile site usage statistics for our own internal use and, in some cases, to share with our service providers.

We do not, nor will ever, sell individual or aggregated online usage data to third-party marketers or other firms. We may share certain data with selected partners (see next section).

This Policy DOES NOT govern your relationship with ENSI when doing business with us or through us. Additional Privacy Policies are available once logged in to our system or can be requested by contacting us through any of the methods listed in 'Section 8 - Who To Contact'.

ENSI makes no representation about any transactions initiated between third-party sites and clients, representatives or other users who visit ensinet.com.

The privacy and security policies of linked sites likely differ from this one and users are encouraged to review the privacy and security policies of these sites.
